Does this Japan dual-network eSIM work on Android?
Yes. This profile carries both KDDI and SoftBank, and Android handsets install it normally. That is the main difference from the SoftBank-only plan, which most Android devices cannot use.
What does dual network actually give me?
The profile is registered on two carriers, so the phone can use whichever is performing better at that moment. In congested places — Shibuya at rush hour, a packed Kyoto bus — that fallback is noticeable.
Does it work in Okinawa and Hokkaido?
